WPPA Families,

With only a few weeks left in the spring regular season before house playoffs begin (all levels except Rookie and Liberty).  We wanted to share some updates with you.

Photo Makeup.  If you missed your house team photos earlier this year, we will be holding a makeup June 21, 10a-12pm near the Welles Gazebo. No need to register for a time in advance, feel free to just come and have your photo taken.

End of Year Celebration.  Our annual celebration is set for Saturday, July 12.  The schedule of events will be posted soon.  Our end of year celebration includes All-Star Games, Home Run Derbies, Season Awards, League Awards, and back once again, a Coaches’ game (more details on this soon).   Please note that our celebration this year is the same weekend as Square Roots, so parking will be limited.

WPPA Annual Awards.  We are looking for nominations for the WPPA Annual Awards.  Specifically, we welcome nominations for coach and umpires (baseball and softball) as well as volunteer of the year.  Please email your nominations to president@wppachicago.org

WPPA Board Members for 2025-26.  As many of you know, we are a completely volunteer driven league – which includes our dedicated and amazing WPPA Board.  We have several spots that will be open for the 2025-2026 board.  If you are interested, please reach out to me at President@wppachicago.org.

Fall Ball Registration.  Fall Ball Registration will open MONDAY, June 9. Please be sure to check the age requirements and sign up for the correct division.
