For more than 10 years, WPPA has offered players in its house program the opportunity to also play travel baseball as "House All-Stars." The league generally offers three (Black, Red and Grey) all-star travel teams at each age level from 8U through 14U, following USSSA age cutoff requirements (May 1), except players on the 14U team may not be enrolled in high school (effectively a September 1 cutoff).
WPPA all-star travel teams participate in local travel leagues including the Northside 5, the Mid-Suburban Baseball League, the Lakeshore Baseball League and the Chicago Sunday League. In addition, teams participate in tournaments across Chicagoland, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin regularly. The 12U teams typically attend one of the week-long tournaments in Cooperstown, New York (Dreams and Cooperstown All-Star Village) in late July or August each summer. The 13U and 14U teams typically attend a tournament in Omaha during the College World Series in late June.
Tryouts for the following year's teams generally take place at the end of the house and travel season (July/August), except for 8U and Grey teams that hold tryouts after Labor Day.

2020 marks the beginning of our all-star travel softball program! Starting off with two teams, one in 10U and one in 12U, Welles launched its travel program, which faces off against other North and Northwest side parks, such as Dunham, Gompers, Hamlin and Oz. All WPPA all-star travel softball games are played in Chicago, and the teams will also play in at least one tournament in Chicagoland, Illinois, Indiana or Wisconsin.
