Key Dates for the 2024 Spring Season
Below are the dates for the 2024 Spring Season:
- March 2024: Game and practice schedules released
- April 1, 2024: Teams can hold first gatherings (but no practices)
- April 5, 2024: Liberty Registration Opens
- April 15, 2024: CPD fields become available for practice
- Weekend of April 20, 2024: Softball opening weekend (10U-14U)
- Weekend of April 27, 2024: Baseball (other than Rookie) + 8U Softball opening weekend
- Weekend of May 4, 2024: Rookie opening weekend
- May 4, 2024, 9am: Opening Ceremony for Rookies + 8U Softball
- May 5 and 11, 2024: House Baseball and Softball Picture Days
- June 4, 2024: Liberty season begins
- June 18, 2024: House regular season ends other than for Rookie
- June 20, 2024: House playoffs begin
- June 22, 2024: Rookie Jamboree @ Welles Park
- June 30, 2024: Rookie season ends
- Weekend of July 6: No house games
- July 12, 2024: Date by which house playoffs will end
- July 13, 2024: All-Star Games, Home Run Derbies and End of Year Celebration
- July 28, 2024: Liberty Season ends
WPPA Board Meetings
All parents that enroll a player in the program become members of the Welles Park Parents Association. A board that consists of officers approved per our by-laws make the operating decisions for the league. A schedule of the planned board meetings is below. Any special or emergency board meetings will be posted here with 3 days notice. All board meetings open to the community will be posted.
